Sean Blakeley is a skillful and dauntless courtroom advocate specializing in complex commercial litigation, insurance coverage disputes, and professional liability.
Sean has represented a diverse range of clients, from individuals navigating life-altering legal challenges to mid-market companies and some of the largest corporations in the world. With a practice centered on trial and appellate advocacy, he has appeared as counsel at all levels of court in Ontario and regularly represents clients before courts and tribunals in Ontario and across Canada.
Sean is at his most effective in the courtroom, bringing a disciplined and strategic approach to complex trials, arbitrations, and professional discipline hearings.
Prior to founding Adelaide Barristers LLP, Sean practiced at two of Canada’s premier litigation boutiques, Lenczner Slaght LLP and Adair Goldblatt Bieber LLP.
Sean earned his JD from Western Law, where he was awarded the Gold Medal for graduating at the top of his class.
